Ecclesiastical work

The practice has established a strong reputation for ecclesiastical work, and has been responsible for several major churches and cathedrals, including Southwark Cathedral and St Albans Abbey, where Richard Griffiths has been Cathedral Architect for 15 years. The practice has acquired specialist expertise in adapting churches to allow extended uses, involving the resolution of complicated issues of access, fire protection, heating, lighting, and the provision of ancillary visitor and parish facilities.
